Consulting Groups
You’re invited to join a global community of therapists committed to growth and learning.
So you've completed a training with Martha, and you've already been applying what you learned in sessions with clients. Now is the time to consider joining one of Martha's consulting groups to receive ongoing support while you cultivate your skills as a sex-competent therapist.
When you join a consulting group, you'll be able to get direct feedback and guidance on your toughest cases. You'll also have the chance to dive deep with Martha into sex issues, relational issues, polyamory, and more.
Consulting groups are only open to students who have completed ATSIP Level 1. Meetings are held via Zoom twice monthly, and the schedule has been designed to accommodate a range of time zones. Seats are limited to keep groups small.
Here's an overview of what the consulting groups offer:
- Live deep-dive consultation on your toughest cases
- Ongoing access to the ATSIP Level 1 course site
-
1.5 AASECT CEUs* per meeting
- An ATSIP Level 2 certificate of completion, web badge, and 24 AASECT CEUs after eight months of participation and successfully competing monthly learning assessments
- Replays and chat transcripts are available as long as you maintain an active subscription
Participants often stay in their consulting group cohort even after they've achieved an ATSIP Level 2 web badge. Consulting groups enable you to nurture professional relationships, get support for your practice, and integrate the tools and techniques you've already learned.
*This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 1.5 CE credits per meeting. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification.

What Participants Are Saying
I appreciate Martha's warmth, timekeeping and good boundaries. I feel good hands on the reins in this group -- Martha's leadership makes all the difference to my feeling of gaining both community and skill. I felt "seen" and included, and I take away immediate skills/tools/conceptualization ideas that I used on my couples that week.
Sarah Lincoln Pattee, MA, LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) - Portland, Oregon
Through complex cases, the position Martha takes is very centered and grounded in who she is as a therapist. This inspires me to take a stance and confront my own biases and blindspots, and energizes me to look deeper into my own self as a therapist.
