Helping you build strong CNM relationship skills in community

This interactive community is a place to engage
with your peers
as you grow these skills.

Everyone needs support with their relationships sometimes.

But when you’re in a non-monogamous partnership, it can be hard to find that support. Who is safe enough to share with — not just about the structure of your relationships, but about the specific aspects you struggle with? Opening up can leave you feeling marginalized, shamed, and judged, as well as emotionally challenged. Even the most well-intentioned friends might not get where you’re coming from, and even if they do, they might not know how to help.

We're here to help you stretch toward the relationship of your dreams.

CNM means stepping outside of a lot of our assumptions about how relationships “should” be. That’s a beautiful thing, and it also comes with its set of challenges. Maybe you’re…

  • Wondering how to settle your emotions so you can enjoy the adventure
  • Feeling like you haven’t quite cracked the code yet of how to balance multiple relationships
  • Aspiring to become a rockstar communicator about highly charged topics
  • Looking for community in a world where monogamy is the default

Whatever challenges you’re experiencing, we’ve got the practical tools to help. We’ll work together to build the skills you need to support your partnerships, in a community of people who get it.

Who is supporting you in this program?

Martha Kauppi is an AASECT-certified therapist and an international expert on polyamory and other consensual non-monogamies. She wrote the book Polyamory: A Clinical Toolkit for Therapists (And Their Clients) and has been living her own non-monogamy for over 25 years.

Robin Eastman is a social worker, therapist, coach, and consultant. She’s a generalist by choice, aptitude, and experience, and has the flexibility to work with all relationship structures, as well as an intersectional lens to put things in perspective. She’s queer, non-monogamous, and demi-sexual.

Meg Jeske is a therapist, educator, writer, and executive assistant at IRI. She's your primary point of connection here in the community site and she's here to help.  She’s queer, kinky, and consensually non-monogamous.
